2024 US Open Championship Preview: Complete Schedule and How to Watch the Golf Major Live

Defending champion Wyndham Clark is set to compete against several of golf’s top players in the 2024 U.S. Open, the season’s third major, at Pinehurst Resort's course No. 2 in North Carolina from June 13 to 16.

Clark secured his maiden major championship in the 2023 U.S. Open at the Los Angeles Country Club by holding off Rory McIlroy for a one-stroke victory.

This four-round stroke play event will showcase some of the world’s best golfers, including world number one Scottie Scheffler, McIlroy, and Brooks Koepka, the last player to successfully defend the U.S. Open title.

Reigning Olympic champion Xander Schauffele, fresh off his first Major victory at last month’s U.S. PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club, will also be among the challengers.

Three-time U.S. Open winner Tiger Woods will join the field at Pinehurst after receiving a special exemption for the tournament.

Scheffler, who finished third at last year’s U.S. Open and recently claimed his second green jacket in three years at Augusta National, will be seeking his third career major. He narrowly missed winning the 2022 U.S. Open at The Country Club, finishing just one stroke behind champion Matt Fitzpatrick.

Other notable contenders include Jon Rahm, Viktor Hovland, Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Cantlay, Collin Morikawa, Cameron Smith, Dustin Johnson, Max Homa, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, and Hideki Matsuyama. Read More........
